That which is written within will reveal the Constitution and the guides of Metaphysical. The password to enter Genesis is hidden in the most important threads: the first letter is in the Constitution and the remaining letters are listed in the Caste System, one letter in the first four threads, in descending order. Read them in order to learn all the letters of the password. The information may seem tedious but it is very important and is mandatory for all members to read and be familiar with.

Find staff-posted information here, which is anything needing site-wide involvement, such as announcements, activity checks, tryouts, updates, surveys, and the magic database, which is where certain items must be recorded if you wish to apply them to your character.

This board is accessible only to staff members. We're basically just plotting against you, no big deal. I'm just kidding! Maybe.

Nominate members and characters for prestigious once-a-month awards! At the end of each month, the winners will be announced. Until then--vote, vote, vote!

Introduce yourself, talk about your day, rant to one another, get involved! This board is purely for the members to do as they wish. Take advantage of it! Many sub-boards within are guest friendly.

Have a Graphic you want to try out? Use this board for all your experimenting purposes. You may also set up a studio here by messaging me to have a sub-board made for you; once you have that, you may feel free to take requests for free or for a price or not at all. You determine! Be sure to post a few examples of your art so that buyers know what you can offer them and keep everything reasonably priced. Hand out freebies or simply publish your artwork for all to see!

A very effective way to acquire money is through participation in competitions. These contests will be hosted by staff members and will include desirable prizes--if you have a suggestion for a competition, feel free to message the admin your idea. The stickied threads are permanent contests or ways to achieve money; those that are not stickied have an end date and are temporary.

Note that not all threads in here are necessarily contests. For example, the Active Character Rewards is more like a monthly salary that members can receive if they have kept a character or characters active that month. There is also a Completed Threads posted which allows you to get money for ending a roleplaying thread. Take a look at all of the threads to make sure you don't miss an easy opportunity!

It's all about your horse! Create your roleplay tracker here-- give all the biography information but this time in depth, adding whatever you so desire; it could be a list/summary of all the relationship your character shares with other horses on the site, a diary held by your horse, some information about yourself, etc. One thread per member. All Monarchs and Consorts are required to have their own threads separate from other characters. They will be stickied at the top for members to view. All other characters by these roleplayers may be contained in a normal tracker.

Important: It is mandatory for members to have a tracker to list what items they have bought. You do not need an elaborate tracker; a thread simply listing your items will suffice.

Members can post here to see which Colony can make them the best offer or members with IC ranks can post here to advertise their Colony. Consider it a "Supply and Demand" board for Colonies.

Any thread that has been declared completed or has been inactive for more than a month will be moved here by a staff member. If you wish for it to be transferred back, please message a staff member asking them to do so. The threads are broken up into sub-boards based on what category they were posted in and are alphabetized according to who posted them.

Guests and members alike can come here to shamelessly advertise their own sites as well as request to be affiliates with Metaphysical. Guest friendly.

Here, Colonies may declare war against Colonies, Lands against Lands. A formal declaration of war must be posted here for the battle to be valid. Please note that this is a board for war, not common fights. Only Monarchs, Consorts, Counts and Countesses may post here, but first read the rules within.

If a Monarch/Consort or Count/Countess desires to end a war they are involved in, they may post a truce here. However, if the truce is one-sided, then it is considered forfeit, and the surrendering side is the loser. If the truce is mutual, then a peace treaty must be forged.

This is a board for precautionary measures. Colonies may come here to make alliances with other Colonies, Lands with other Lands, or Consorts with other Consorts. They must clearly state what exactly the alliance entails.

Certain ranks are allowed to establish a council, which will convene within this board. All you have to do is message the Administrator the name and description of your desired Council and a sub-board will be created for your group. It is encouraged that you also set up a password so your meetings are kept secret. To have a password, just include that in your message to the Admin. Councils are largely for plot purposes; they allow horses from the same Colony or different Colonies to plan mutiny, talk about their superiors, share information, forge unofficial alliances, establish connections, etc. You can post rules and other stipulations if you are the creator of the Council.

To create a character, follow the form within this board. You may only roleplay characters that have been accepted by a staff member. Find the password hidden in Direction. One letter is hidden in the Constitution; the remaining letters are hidden in the Caste System, one letter in the first four threads, in descending order. After your character is accepted, be sure to make a tracker in the board In The Spotlight to keep a record of their items.

Come here for the gift of life--the birthing of a foal. No graphic or IC breeding is allowed; follow the forms within.

If your character has perished, you may proclaim their death as an ooc statement or you may roleplay it out. It is encouraged that you allow a Monarch or other IC Ranked horse to kill your character for plotlines and reputation.

You can buy many things within the Agora, from a higher power level to a Hybrid character. Shops are owned by members and can be opened by anyone; message the administrator to create your own shop! However, be sure to read the threads in the Warehouse before jumping into store ownership.

If your shop goes inactive, it will be set to "hidden." This means it is invisible but everything in it remains intact. You may not purchase from the Warehouse if your shop is hidden. To make it visible again, simply PM an administrator. You have one chance to redeem yourself. If your shop must be "hidden" twice, your shop will be permanently deleted and you may no longer become a shopowner.

Any member can hold an auction for items, manips, ranks--anything that they possess! You can sell multiple things at once and receive multiple things as payment. Put a time limit or go until you're satisfied by someone's offer. Call it--going once!--going twice!--sold!

For the little fueds or the fatal fights between commoners, bring the bloodshed to the Colosseum, a flat, blank expanse of dirt littered with jagged stones and splashes of gore. The battleground is surrounded by the decrepit ruins of an ancient gladiator arena, although it can hardly be recognized as that now; all that remains are the broken pillars that stand like stained bone stabbed into the earth.

To make an account with the Metaphysical Bank, simply message a staff member and they will promptly set one up. You can deposit money to gain interest as well as withdraw money to continue making your purchases. If you have an account, you are able to request loans to help you pay for things not quite in your budget at the moment. Please read the rules before attempting to use this system.

The L'amour Falls are widely rumored to be the hotspot for romance in Metaphysical. Effervescent water pours from a short cliff into a clear, shallow pond. The crystalline edges lap serenely at the rose-strewn bank. A weeping willow spills its ivy tears into the rustling breeze, tangling with the long billows of grass surrounding it.

Put aside your differences! Crossroads is the convergence of all five Colonies; a neutral woodland for encountering new friends or meeting old ones. The sparse canopy of golden leaves and amber branches weaves a web of smoky shadows on the trampled paths underneath as well as allowing a highlight of ochre-tainted sunrays through.

The very scenery appears to glow, the sky highlighted in teal and casting the same shade across the glittering water. There is an almost unearthly quality to the land where only Monarchs may tread. Designed for royalty and hosting a splendor befitting the gods, the diamond-glazed bay known as Fustian Inlet is something for Commoners to view in envy.

Believer or not, all horses have a chance to be gifted or cursed by the gods. At this altar, you may beseech the deities for your own betterment; be wary, though, for your prayer may be answered with terrible outcomes at the whim of the divinities. The higher your rank, the farther you have to fall. You may receive a blessing, a punishment, or nothing at all may transpire. Take your chance once every two weeks per each character to present your plea. You may pray to any Patron, whether they are of your Colony or not, for each has a specialty, but you will find more favor with your Colony and often harsher consequences with other Colonies.

Want the reward without all the risk? Skip the gods and instead pray to the angels. There are no curses here. Praying to them is also the only way to acquire a Shade. Tempting, tempting. Of course, there is one downside they aren't eager to share with you... to pray to the angels is to anger the gods. You may find displeasing them is a fatal endeavour.

Those bearing the stigma of banishment are cast off here, the forlorn plains where all become one. Rejected by the Colonies, cast aside and overlooked, the Exiled are a band seething with the desire for revenge. With enough power fueled by enough hatred, anything is possible.

Enter the Circus, a sadistic form of entertainment for any masochist. Led by the Ringmaster, the Circus is a twisted hierarchy dedicated to the creative torture of the unfortunate through unique, pain-enducing combat, races, and other obstacles. If pain is your pleasure, prepare for a ride.

Two is one as those of mixed blood coexist in a contrasting world. Hybrids are allowed to travel to all the free lands as well as the two Colonies from which they share blood. The Badlands are all open to be claimed; however, all ranks here are informal. There are no Monarchs nor Counts nor Advisorss. It's basically anarchy--if you want it, take it. Be a tyrant, be a democracy, be what you want. Just don't expect things to ever go as planned.
